Christmas Wedding St Mary’s Horsham & Hickstead Hotel

A photo from the wedding of Emma & Steve back in December at St Mary’s Church in Horsham. Once again, thankfully we had just enough light to get the all important shots at the church. After using my trusty stepladder to gain height for the main group, I set about a few select smaller groups before cracking on with their portraits.  Although the lights hadn’t come on yet, I added one in Photoshop just for added effect as show here. We then headed for the reception which was held at the Hickstead Hotel, an ideal venue with plenty of room and nice ceilings to bounce light from! After their wedding breakfast we were treated to a professional firework display, which made for another great photo opportunity too.

Bailiffscourt Hotel Climping Wedding – Lyn & George

A photo from the wedding of Lyn & George who were married at Bailiffscourt Hotel, Climping. Due to heavy rain after the ceremony, many shots had to be taken indoors or in doorways like this example here, keeping them nice and dry while I was out in the rain! It eventually cleared and we got outside for a few groups 10 minutes before the wedding breakfast.

Olesya & David – Wedding At Field Place In Worthing

And now a few shots from the wedding of Olesya & David who were married at Field Place in Worthing. After 20 years of shooting weddings in the area, it was amazing that I hadn’t been there before. It’s a lovely little place with all the right ingredients to make the perfect wedding venue and fantastic for photographs whatever the weather. Speaking of the weather, it was a beautiful day so I made best use of the shade under the trees.

David and I would really like to thank you for our lovely photographs. Although we saw your work before, we were pleasantly surprise to see ourselves on such professional photos. I presume that after having such a lovely day we were still  half expecting for something to go wrong. I am not even going to start on how much I personally like your work, but I really have to stop myself from looking at the photos over and over again! Thank you very much for your great efforts!

Ellie & Steve – St Mary’s Church, Horsham – Denbies Wine Estate, Dorking

Finally beginning to catch up and get around to putting some images one here. Ellie and Steve were married at St Mary’s Church in Horsham at the end of July, and had their reception at Denbies wine estate, Dorking in Surrey.

Bailiffscourt Wedding

Last week I photographed the wedding of Louise & Phil at Bailiffscourt Hotel, just up the road form me in Climping. After the legal ceremony they chose to have a beautiful and as usual a rather amusing (father John is a bit of a comedian on the quite) blessing in the chapel. Afterwards we headed to the rose garden for drinks and a few photos. Here is one taken on the new tree swing.

Nikki and Stephen – Bailiffscourt Wedding on Saturday

Here are a few shots from the wedding of Nikki and Stephen at Bailiffscourt Hotel, Climping on Saturday. I have put these together in the form of a slideshow, lasts about 4 minutes. Less than good weather wise, but still got outside for a couple of shots in between the rain! The rest were taken with them standing in the doorways so it was only me who got wet… things I do for a photo!

Last week I photographed the wedding of Sara and David at my regular haunt Bailiffscourt Hotel, Climping. Another wet start but cleared up just in time. Luckily it was a very intimate wedding, as due to various circumstances we only had around 10 minutes to do both their group photographs and their portraits too, meaning we had to stay in the one location as well.

Wedding of Maria and James in Midhurst

Wedding Photographers Sussex

Here is a shot from the wedding of Maria and James who were married at St James’s Church, Stedham followed by reception at The Spread Eagle hotel, Midhurst. A very wet start to the day, but as soon as the happy couple came out of the church the sun came out and we were looking for shade! They requested a more formal and traditional coverage so there are a few more groups than normal, but I still got a few natural candid shots in too.
