Aimee & Steve – Cooling Castle Barn Wedding

I had an awesome day at Cooling Castle Barn for the wedding of Aimee and Steve. Wow what a venue, a castle backdrop and a barn location all in one! We were a little short of time, but still managed to get everything done. Aimee didn’t want any coverage of her getting ready, so I began shooting at the Barns to capture the arrivals. After the ceremony I took the two of them outside to the Castle entrance for a couple of very quick portraits before returning them to their guests. A handful of groups later and it was time for the speeches followed by the wedding breakfast. As well as the civil ceremony, they also had a blessing after their meal. Followed by the first dance and then the band to finish. Despite the busy schedule, the day ran really smoothly with thanks to the wonderful staff at Cooling Castle Barn. I also managed to get plenty of candid, photojournalistic shots throughout the day too. Here are a few photographs from the day, the full wedding will be ready and time soon.

Sophie & Dan – Winter Wedding – The Norfolk Arms Hotel – Arundel

I had a great day yesterday shooting the wedding of Sophie and Dan at the Norfolk Arms Hotel in Arundel. The weather, all be it freezing was awesome with loads of sunshine!! After the ceremony we headed into the town in Sophie’s Dad’s black cab for some ‘must have’ portraits. As usual for my Arundel weddings we headed down to the old ruins by the river and the castle entrance for some great backgrounds. We then headed back to the Norfolk Arms for a couple of groups and finishing off with a ‘fly on the wall’ coverage up to the wedding breakfast. Here are a few shots from the day.

Pre Wedding Engagement Session – The Spread Eagle Hotel – Midhurst

Christmas Wedding St Mary’s Horsham & Hickstead Hotel

A photo from the wedding of Emma & Steve back in December at St Mary’s Church in Horsham. Once again, thankfully we had just enough light to get the all important shots at the church. After using my trusty stepladder to gain height for the main group, I set about a few select smaller groups before cracking on with their portraits. Although the lights hadn’t come on yet, I added one in Photoshop just for added effect as show here. We then headed for the reception which was held at the Hickstead Hotel, an ideal venue with plenty of room and nice ceilings to bounce light from! After their wedding breakfast we were treated to a professional firework display, which made for another great photo opportunity too.

Yesterday I had a lovely morning shooting Janine & Chris along with their daughter Aimee in the glorious sunshine at Elmers Court, Lymington in Hampshire. Bailiffscourt Hotel Climping Wedding – Lyn & George

A photo from the wedding of Lyn & George who were married at Bailiffscourt Hotel, Climping. Due to heavy rain after the ceremony, many shots had to be taken indoors or in doorways like this example here, keeping them nice and dry while I was out in the rain! It eventually cleared and we got outside for a few groups 10 minutes before the wedding breakfast.

Olesya & David – Wedding At Field Place In Worthing

And now a few shots from the wedding of Olesya & David who were married at Field Place in Worthing. After 20 years of shooting weddings in the area, it was amazing that I hadn’t been there before. It’s a lovely little place with all the right ingredients to make the perfect wedding venue and fantastic for photographs whatever the weather. Speaking of the weather, it was a beautiful day so I made best use of the shade under the trees.

David and I would really like to thank you for our lovely photographs. Although we saw your work before, we were pleasantly surprise to see ourselves on such professional photos. I presume that after having such a lovely day we were still half expecting for something to go wrong. I am not even going to start on how much I personally like your work, but I really have to stop myself from looking at the photos over and over again! Thank you very much for your great efforts!
